In April 2011, the cities of Stuttgart and Valencia signed a cooperative agreement. In it, they express their firm intent to increase mutual knowledge, believing that such a link contributes to each’s prosperity and a continuous development of relations, one to another. Such cooperation is sustained by the principles of friendship, openness and mutual affection. It extends to tourism, sport, education, urban mobility and research in the field of energy.

In 2006, the cities of Lugano and Valencia signed a Collaboration Protocol in terms of culture, sports education and an exchange of knowledge and experience, to celebrate the 32nd America’s Cup to be held the following year in Valencia. In 2010 the partnership agreement between the two cities has been updated and its validity is extended until 2012.

The cities of Dallas and Valencia have signed a friendship and collaboration agreement in 2010 which aims to make the most of the opportunities and potentials that the two cities offer in the areas of tourism, city planning, innovation and culture. In particular, both cities will work together in the establishment and development of flight connections between Dallas and Valencia to promote in the USA the offer of our city as the departure port for Mediterranean cruises.”
