Our city’s institutional collaboration is not only carried out through agreements with other cities but also with international institutions that wish to carry out their activities in our city.
Fundación Comunidad Valenciana-Región Europea
In 2010 the Valencia City Council and the Fundación Comunidad Valenciana – Región Europea have signed an agreement of collaboration to promote the participation of the Council in European politics and programmes, especially in the fields of environment, culture, development of new technologies, tourism and sports.
Casa Asia
In December 2008, the Collaboration Agreement was signed between Casa Asia and the Valencia City Council with the aim of promoting better understanding between Valencian civilian society and countries of Asia and the Pacific. In this context, cooperation will be fostered in economic, cultural, social, scientific and sporting matters, as well as those related to tourism with Asia and the Pacific, and Valencia will be promoted as a meeting point between Europe and Asia and the Pacific. There are also plans for Casa Asia to hold Festival Asia in the city of Valencia.
