THE MAYORESS RECALLS THE LINKS THAT EXIST BETWEEN VALENCIA AND SWITZERLAND 

The leader of the Valencian municipality receives the Ambassador of Switzerland

The Mayoress of Valencia, Rita Barberá, has received the Ambassador of Switzerland in Spain, Urs Ziswiler. Accompanied by the Deputy Mayor, Councillor Alfonso Grau, and the delegate Councillor for Innovation and Information Society, Beatriz Simón, the Mayoress and the Swiss ambassador celebrate the relations between Valencia and Switzerland.

These include, for example, the collaboration agreement that Valencia has signed with Lugano for the mutual promotion of both cities, the educational exchange program 'Discover Switzerland', the inauguration of airline routes between Valencia and Geneva or Zurich, or current contacts in the field of scientific research related to biotech products or nanotechnology which have promoted strong support to the pharmaceutical and agribiological industry of the Valencian economy.
