THE MAYORESS INAUGURATES THE SMARTER CITIES VALENCIA CONGRESS

Rita Barberá announces that the City Council is promoting a “Local Innovation Pact”

On the occasion of the Smarter Cities-Talented Oriented Valencia Congress, promoted by the City Council in collaboration with the multinational IBM; experts in strategic consultancy of this firm work in association with entrepreneurs, researchers and the academic sector representatives, with the aim of directing the motivation of Valencia and converting innovation in “a fundamental element to promote its progress, development and economic dynamism”.

The Mayoress, Rita Barberá has thanked IBM for the inclusion of our city in the Intelligent Cities Network “which in these times of economic crisis is investing in talent and bets on attracting science and technology companies”.  Furthermore, the Mayoress said that a “Local Innovation Pact” to which all social partners could be linked to and were represented today in this Smarter Cities Valencia Conference will be promoted.
